I stand on a hill, gazing
out at the town below
The stars are so beautiful in the dark sky
Tricks of light dance across a map of eternity
A meteor pierces the night's essence
Trees sway in a hypnotic motion of fluidity
I watch the waves crash against an awaiting shore
The rain pours in slight
angles
backward then forward again
I stand in the middle
feeling, seeing, hearing, loving it
all
Exotic tempos play
throughout my head
As my mind wanders into the unknown probability
Arguments of nature, the beauties and the horrors
The crickets and the frogs sing in blissful harmony
A breeze awakens the child within, with memories of glee
The extent of my minds eye stretching thousands of miles
I gaze into darkness as it all becomes clea
The meaning of existence is wonder
As I wander
Phantoms chase away the
ghosts
A child in a nest begs
"may I please have some
more?"
As mommy heads out on another adventure
Will she return? Will she feed another family?
The dams are being built
with blueprints built in
Questions of "who" fill the night air
Branches crackle like a floor in a mystery novel
Should I touch this? Or be touched by it?
The moon gazes down on all
you survey
As you survey with all your being
Being left in awe as you comprehend it all
A doe stares...then runs away
"Come back I only want to touch you"
One predator stalks another
to carry on the line
As the babes nurse from the mother who loves them
Mankind could take lessons
from the experience
In the world that unfolds here
Deep with thought, full
with expression
Here you are yourself
Nothing more nothing less
Difference means nothing but how you build your home
And where
Will we relearn all we have
lost?
Or carry on and be lost
Time reveals all in this crystal ball
Gaze in and see what lays ahead
Ooops to late!
Or is it?
Turn the page!
...
Hmmmmm
